August 15th, 2013, Shanghai – The leading China-based integrated oilfield equipment and service provider Hilong is pleased to announce that Hilong’s OCTG coating plant in Sichuan has commenced operations as of August 10th. This is Hilong's 11th OCTG coating production line worldwide.
The business scope of Hilong’s Sichuan OCTG coating plant, which is situated in Gaoping District, Nanchong, Sichuan Province, includes internal coating service for drill pipes, oil casing and tubing, linepipes, drilling fluid recurrence manifolds and rectangular tubes, as well as hardbanding application for drilling tools and accessories.
The market for the plant includes CNPC’s Sichuan Oilfield and SINOPEC’s Southwestern Gas and Oil Field, which mainly comprises gas production fields.
“Hilong Sichuan OCTG coating plant is currently the only advanced production line in western China, which is well-situated and enjoys convenient market access along with a wide prospective market.” President Zhang Jun said: “Hilong will further strengthen the OCTG coating business and continue to strengthen its strategic partnerships with important clients.
